About Cherry Hill Township NJ

Encompassing 24 square miles on the Cooper River, the Township of Cherry Hill is a prosperous community that includes the communities of Springdale, Ashland, Greentree, Barclay, Kingston Estates, and Cherry Hill Mall. Residents here are incredibly involved in volunteering their time to both public service groups and charitable organizations. The community supports the statewide initiative of Smart Growth America, a public advocacy organization that promotes community growth.

Cherry Hill's students are served by the Cherry Hill Public Schools as well as several acclaimed private schools. Seven colleges and universities are within 12 miles including Rutgers University and Temple University. Cherry Hill's strong local economy boasts several Fortune 500 firms as its largest employers.

Many residents take advantage of their proximity to the world-class Camden Waterfront, which presents cultural, historic, and entertainment offerings. Residents come here to enjoy a live concert at the Tweeter Center, cheer on the Camden Riversharks, or ride the RiverLink Ferry into Philadelphia.

The township is home to 51 public parks including Croft Farm, the only park that features an arts center. If you're looking to tee off, Woodcrest Country Club and Merchantville Country Club are the community's two private country clubs.
